Reviews
felt like we were in Italy. We came here for lunch right when they opened. Very friendly stuff. They have one of the best cappuccinos. We ordered truffle fettuccine and it was delicious. Grilled vegetables were also good. Highly recommend. It is a bit pricey compare to other places but the food is worth it. Also I got side of chilli since I like my food spicy.
We drank Primitivo, it was very good. The food was sublime, carrying tasty essences of authentic preparation and really quality materials with select dishes. The desserts were also very good and we tried more than half of them. Bravo!
Delicious food, great wine choice. The first time it was a bit rushed. On Google they said they close at 11pm, in reality their kitchen closes at 10pm. As I just finished a concert at St. Stephen, I had to rush order and order everything at once. The server also changed 3 times as they were technically closing. The second time was better as it was lunch and had time to enjoy the full menu.
The capaccio with truffles was great~ generous amounts of truffles over and I had some with every bite. The Viennes capaccio of sliced cooked veal with Tuna paste was delicious as well. If you are not a big fan of mayo, I would not recommend. The pastas were cooked perfectly with al dente noodles and the sauce coated everything well. Make sure to ask for the chillies (they are in olive oil form and tastes amazing!) Flavours were balanced and full. The panseared seabass had super crispy skin and was salted just enough. The grilled vegetables really brought out the sweetness of each one. The panna cotta had velvety texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Pairs great with the fresh mint and the tartness of the fruits. The chocolate lava cake was decadent and not too heavy. The oozing center was so delicious to dip the fruits in.
A pleasant experience. I think this is the best place in Vienna to have a delicious Italian meal.
An oasis of Italy cuisine in the heart of Viena. Delicious food and cosy atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. Highly recommended for exquisite food.
Cosy restaurant and great food, plus the service was friendly. Obviously on the expensive side, but a great spot for a treat!
We had high hopes for this classy Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. It was good but it did not delivered the level of culinary excellence that one would expect given the atmosphere. However, one aspect that stood out positively was the extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
Food was good but way overpriced. €111 for 2 pasta dishes and 2 glasses of wine and bottle of still water. Hidden charge with bread that was brought to table without being ordered. Assumed it was free as in every other restaurant in the world. Irritating as the food was good
